Payments

To ensure a smooth process, please note that once you receive the payment link, payment must be made in full within 48 hours. Just a heads up, if full payment isn't made within 48 hours, your spot will be given to the next person- unless alternative payment arrangements have been agreed upon. 


  • The Piñata Mom accepts payments through major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
  • Online transactions are securely processed through our trusted payment gateway.
  • For your convenience, I also welcome payments via PayPal.

Cancellations


  • Cancellation Window:  You have up to 2 days from the date of payment to cancel your piñata commission and receive a full refund, no questions asked. 
  • Cancellation Fee: If you cancel your order after the initial 2-day window, a cancellation fee of $45 will be deducted from the payment you've already made. This fee compensates for the reservation of your spot that could have been for another customer. 
  • Cancellations by The Piñata Mom:  If, for any reason, I need to cancel your order – whether it's due to unforeseen circumstances, production issues, or any other reason – don't worry! You'll receive a full refund to your original payment method. 

Shipping

 

  • Carrier Partners: UPS and USPS 
  • Tracking Information: Tracking information is available upon request.
  • Lost or Stolen Items: TPM is not liable for any lost or stolen items once they're in transit.
  • Damaged Orders: If your order arrives damaged, simply reach out. Once the damage is confirmed, I will issue a full refund or, if time and my schedule permit, I'll craft a brand-new piñata to replace the damaged one.
  • Delivery Timeline: Plan to receive your order within a week of the event date submitted.
  • Transit Time: Typically, transit time ranges from 2 to 7 business days.
  • Delays: Unexpected situations beyond our control may occasionally cause delays. Your patience and understanding in these situations mean a lot!

Confirming Your Shipping Address

Confirmation of Shipping Address


To make sure your order arrives correctly and on time, please confirm your shipping address during our conversation. If you don't confirm it, I'll use the address linked to your PayPal account. by default.


How It Works


  1. Confirmation: You'll have a chance to review and confirm your shipping address when you secure your spot.
  2. Default Address: If you don't confirm your address, your piñata will be shipped to the address associated with your PayPal account.


Updating Your Address


If you need to change your shipping address after making a payment, please contact me right away at cynthia@thepinatamom.com


Processing & Turnaround Time

Processing time typically spans from 2 to 4 weeks. Please keep in mind that the complexity and intricacy of your chosen design may influence the timeline.


It's essential to understand that the initiation of work on your order depends on my current workload. This could mean I start immediately, or it might take a week or two. In certain instances, particularly if you've reserved your spot well in advance, it could be a month or two before I begin on your order.


I'll reach out to you via email on the day I begin working on your piñata. If you don't hear from me immediately after reserving your spot, please don't panic! It simply means that I haven't started on your order yet. However, I guarantee that I'll always ship it out in time for you to receive. it.

Return and Refund


Custom Piñatas:


  • Because each piñata is custom-made, I do not accept returns or refunds;
  • Exception for refunds- If your order arrives damaged, please contact me immediately with photo evidence for confirmation. 
  • If you decide you no longer want your custom piñata, you have a 2-day window from the date of purchase to cancel your order and receive a full refund.


Ready-to-ship Piñatas:


  • Ready-to-ship piñatas are final sale, with no returns or refunds.


Refunds are processed back to your original payment method and typically take up to 7 business days.
