Embracing Creativity: Shifting away from licensed characters

I'm thrilled to connect with you today to share some exciting updates regarding the future of our collaboration process. 

After careful consideration, I've made the decision to transition away from accepting commissions for licensed characters.

Now, you might be wondering, "Why the change?" Well, let me explain.

As creators, we must hold respect for intellectual property rights. While creating piñatas inspired by beloved characters has been fun, it's time for me to explore new avenues of creativity.

This decision isn't just about legality—it's also about embracing the opportunity to push the boundaries of my creativity. And by shifting my focus away from licensed characters, I'm reclaiming that sense of artistic freedom. 

After meeting with a small business attorney, I got the clarity I needed. It's time to take a new direction in my piñata-making journey.

Effective August 2024, I will no longer be accepting commissions for licensed characters. However, I am committed to fulfilling all current commissions involving licensed characters before this transition takes place.

So, what does this mean for you? Don’t worry! While I may be shifting away from licensed characters, I'm still here to collaborate with you to bring your piñata dreams to life.
